Who are we?

We were founded in June 2025 by 18yr old schoolboy Benjamin Hanning. He founded us with nothing more than a dream. A dream to give the youth a chance in a notoriously hard field. Through his grit, hard work, and special skills, his dream has succeeded. The name NoVice comes from the term Novice, referring to the beginner that he is, and to the newness of those that have contracted to help and work with him.

NoVice Studio is an independent film collective built on honesty, grit, and grounded storytelling. We aim to create raw, unfiltered narratives that reflect the complexities of real life, not what's trending. Our films explore the uncomfortable, the overlooked, and the human, always putting story above spectable. We're here to give bold voices a space to be heard, and to be build a legacy of cinema that means something. Every project we take on is chosen for its heart, not its hype. As part of our commitment to amplifying new voices, we also welcome project ideas from young or emerging creatives. If it aligns with our vision, we'll help bring it to life. Real stories deesrive to be told, no matter where they start.

We're relatively new, officially starting in 2026. Our experience is low, but that's the point. We are new. We're growing ourselves as a company, and the people who work with us. In a field that doesn't offer a lot of chance, we create our own.
